Craig Ballard

Mr. Ballard is currently Managing Partner of Pacific Southwest Ventures, an early investor in Mango. Craig has over fifteen years of experience in public and private equity transactions, commercial finance and technology start-ups. In 1999 Craig founded Logistechs Inc., which in less than five years became the leading provider of spare part financing and management services in the commercial airline industry, using state of the art inventory optimization technology as a competitive advantage. Logistechs was widely recognized as the company to beat in this mission critical space and as a result was acquired by GE in 2004. Craig continued to work as a senior executive with GE Commercial Finance until leaving in 2006.
Prior to GE/Logistechs, Craig held senior management positions at KPMG Consulting, Ryder Integrated Logistics, and Holland Chemical International. Working with Ryder at General Motors, he helped lead one of the largest JIT Supply Chain transformations in US automaker history, receiving Ryder’s President’s award in recognition of his efforts. Mr. Ballard is recognized as a thought leader in supply chain and asset management, and has a proven track record of successfully commercializing groundbreaking technologies in a variety of applications. Craig holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia. He also serves on the board of directors of Iamota Inc., a leading mobile applications service provider.
